The Research Network includes a total of about 30, mostly multi-centre, research projects. PN I comprises especially projects on improving and establishing early recognition and intervention, whereas PN II includes projects aiming at optimization of acute and long-term treatment (SN I + II) as well as projects on rehabilitation, especially in residual courses (SN III). The figure below gives an overview of these projects.
